Perspectives - Nancy

Nancy, France, Summer 2026

From the raw to the intimate

In Nancy, Atelier HaruFuyu’s objects venture onto the rooftop of the Saint-Sébastien car park, then find a place in a home on rue Blandan. Two settings, two ways of encountering materials and the traces of everyday life.

On the rooftop, concrete and asphalt welcome an unexpected delicacy. The lines of the city lend antique objects a new presence: their curves, patterns and fragility reveal themselves differently in this open space. Out of the cupboard, they seem, for a moment, to have escaped the routines of home.

On rue Blandan, the gaze draws closer. Lace, folds of linen and surfaces marked by time create a familiar setting. Here, the objects evoke the gestures that once accompanied them: laying a table, serving, caring. Their refinement settles naturally into the life of the home.

From the raw to the intimate, this series continues the exploration at the heart of Perspectives: placing objects in unfamiliar settings to open up new ways of seeing them where a texture, a fall of light or a detail brings a story to life.
